Top 8 (Eight is Great!)

8 TV shows I watch.
  • Privileged
  • Ghost Whisperer (can thank my MIL for that one - it's so cheesy)
  • Gossip Girl (and thanks to Laura for that one)
  • MythBusters
  • 90210 (only great when they bring back the old cast story lines - Kelly. Oh, and those girls need to eat)
  • Jon and Kate Plus 8
  • Vicar of Dibley (mainly on DVD thought, as it's hard to find!)
  • News
8 Favorite Restaurants
  • Polo Grill (occasions only)
  • Hideaway
  • McNellie's (fierce craving for sweet potato fries for 2 weeks now)
  • Senor Tequilas
  • Red Robin (chain, yes, but I love the way they dress up a Gardenburger)
  • Crusty Croissant (Makes me miss La Madeline in Big D)
  • Tsunami
  • Sonic
8 things that happened today
  • Slept in a little, first day back
  • Near catastrophe loading balance ball in car - or at least in my head. One slip, and both me and the ball could have ended up in the street or crushed by carpool crazy mom in school lot.
  • Starbucks was slow - but coffee was great
  • Did not bring coffee to work for new French Press!
  • Posted Flap Jack Dash on registration websites (free pancakes folks)
  • Confirmed race timing (that's a relief)
  • Checked neglected email
  • Skipped breakfast (not good)

8 things I look forward to:
  • Going to gym
  • Eating breakfast . . .
  • Ski trip over spring break (huge thanks to in - laws who gave us enough to cover our half of condo, plus rentals and lessons - great Christmas gift!!!)
  • Not tomorrow . . .
  • Planning a summer vacation
  • Thursday's potential dinner with MiSuk and her baby
  • Spending gift cards on new clothes
  • Finding a pair of boots (with other gift money)

8 things I wish for:

  • Good news from Dr. tomorrow
  • Commitment to Bible study
  • Commitment to gym (makes me feel better and really does seem to help with monthly issues)
  • Recommit to running - planning a run doesn't count!
  • Fewer home catastrophes for John's sake!
  • Good health for parents as they get closer to retirement - they need to enjoy it!
  • Big sponsors for run!
  • . . . World Peace

  1. Thanks for playin Dayna! I love that you love to run...it's inspiring for me to get back into it. Who knows, maybe we can run in a race together someday!
